Day 1
Arrive in Melbourne
Arrive at Melbourne’s Tullamarine Airport. On arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Check-in and relax. (Early check–inn is not guaranteed) Overnight stay at your hotel in Melbourne. There is a lot to love about Melbourne - just ask a local! This sophisticated city in the south-east corner of mainland Australia is very much about lifestyle and never sits still. Modern, cutting-edge infrastructure blends with heritage architecture and ensures a dynamic skyline.
Day 2
Melbourne – Full Day Tour.
Breakfast at the hotel. Later proceed for a Full day Great Ocean Road Adventure (Dep 0800hrs / Returns after 1930hrs) Enjoy one of the world’s great coastal drives, with its dramatic scenery of striking contrasts. The region boasts powerful seas, golden beaches, peaceful townships, giant cliffs and lush forests. Pass world famous Bells Beach, home to World Surfing Championships. View the popular coastal townships of Torquay and Lorne – a surfer’s haven and retreat. See the amazing Twelve Apostles – limestone stacks rising dramatically from the Southern Ocean, an amazing photo opportunity. Walk along the boardwalk and enjoy the scenery from various viewing platforms. Visit Port Campbell, a charming fishing village and summer holiday resort and continue beyond Port Campbell to the remnants of London Bridge. Overnight at your hotel in Melbourne.
Day 3
Melbourne - Morning City Tour of Melbourne and Afternoon Phillip Island Penguins,
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Morning City tour of Melbourne. Explore the cosmopolitan city with wide boulevards and fine historic buildings. Visiting wonders as Federation Square, the MCG and our world-famous sports precinct, St Patrick’s Cathedral, Albert Park Lake (Formula 1) and over to St Kilda Beach. Later proceed for Phillip Island Penguins from Federation Square. You will travel south-east, heading to Westernport Bay. The route will take you through many of Melbourne’s affluent suburbs where you will see tree lined streets and beautiful homes. As the South Gippsland Highway approaches the landscape becomes more rural dotted with smaller townships and farming properties. You’ll cross the only bridge that connects Phillip Island to the mainland. Home to the famous Penguin Parade, Phillip Island also features a stunning coastline with great surf conditions and a range of wildlife including the largest colony of fur seals in Australia. As the sun sets, the wild Little Penguins emerge from the sea after a hard days fishing and waddle across the sand to their dune burrows. These Little Penguins are the smallest of the penguin species and Phillip Island is home to the largest colony in the world. Overnight stay at your hotel in Melbourne.
Day 4
Melbourne – Perth /Perth Airport– Transfer to Perth Hotel
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart to Melbourne Airport for flight to Perth / Perth Airport. Arrive in Perth Airport and transfer to your hotel. Check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure to explore the city on own. Overnight stay at your hotel in Gold Coast. Perth, capital of Western Australia, sits where the Swan River meets the southwest coast. Sandy beaches line its suburbs, and the huge, riverside Kings Park and Botanic Garden on Mount Eliza offer sweeping views of the city. The Perth Cultural Centre houses the state ballet and opera companies, and occupies its own central precinct, including a theatre, library and the Art Gallery of Western Australia.
Day 5
Full Day Pinnacles Sunset Tour
Breakfast at the hotel. Embark on a guided day trip to the world-famous Pinnacle from Perth. Visit Nambung National Park and The Pinnacles one of the most visited natural wonders of the state. Marvel at the thousands of limestone pillars that rise out of a stark landscape of yellow sand. Take your time to walk around and explore the area and make sure you have your camera with you to take some colorful photos of these stunning formations. Next, you will relax on a beachfront terrace overlooking the Coral Coast while enjoying succulent lobster, fresh fish, shrimp, or abalone at the famous Lobster Shack Restaurant in Cervantes. Overnight stay at your hotel in Perth.
Day 6
Rottnest Island Grand Island Day Tour
Breakfast at the hotel. See the best of Rottnest Island on this full-day, all-inclusive tour of Western Australia's most beautiful island, just 19 kilometers off the coast of Perth. Begin your day at Hillary's Boat Harbor in Perth, where you can explore the harbor. You will get there on a lightning-fast ocean crossing aboard the local partner's high-speed ferries. It is recommended to arrive at Hillary's Boat Harbor at 9:00 AM for the 10:00 AM ferry departure. Then, discover everything this beautiful island has to offer on a 3.5-hour all-inclusive fully guided bus tour. Overnight stay at your hotel in Perth.
Day 7
Perth – Sydney Airport/ Transfer to Sydney
Breakfast at the hotel. Check – out and transfer to Perth Airport for your flight to Sydney. Arrive Sydney and transfer to your hotel. Check-in and relax. Spend the evening at leisure or explore the city on your own. Overnight stay at your hotel in Sydney.
Day 8
Sydney - Full Day Blue Mountain Tour - 8 Hours
Breakfast at the hotel. Blue Mountains Tour with Wildlife Park, Scenic Rides at Scenic World - Dep 0800hrs daily / Returns by 1800hrs Today sit back and relax as you travel into the amazing Blue Mountains. This rugged and beautiful region forms part of the Great Dividing Range, linking tropical north to temperate south while dividing coastal cities from the vast Outback. Enjoy a stop at Echo Point and see the famous Three Sisters rock formation and have an opportunity to visit the Koomurri Centre and hear the ancient Aboriginal legends of this impressive rock formation. Arrive at Scenic World and join the optional Blue Mountain rides - Scenic Railway, Cableway or Skyway (own expense). These rides are a great way to see the steep valleys, canyons and Three Sisters rock formation. Discover Leura village where you will have free time for lunch or the chance to wander the streets. Next, stop at Featherdale Wildlife Park. Situated on seven acres of natural bush setting, you’ll be able to hand-feed Kangaroos, Wallabies and Emus and enjoy a face-to-face encounter with one of the friendly Koalas.
Day 9
Sydney - City Tour
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for a morning half-day City tour of Sydney. See Darling Harbor and Cockle Bay, and cross the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Visit the historic Rocks area, Macquarie Street, NSW Parliament House, Rum Hospital, Hyde Park Barracks and St Mary's Cathedral, Mrs Macquarie's Point, views of the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge, Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, Kings Cross, Double Bay, Rose Bay, Watsons Bay, Bondi Beach, Tamarama and Bronte beaches, Centennial Park and Paddington, Oxford Street.

Depart Sydney

Australia is the size of Europe, and the map flattens that. Sydney to Melbourne is an hour's flight, not a drive, and Perth is four hours in the air from the east coast. Plan on internal flights between cities, not roads, and don't try to 'pop over' to the reef or the Red Centre on a whim. The country is far bigger than a two-city trip lets on.
The sun bites
The ozone is thin over Australia and the sun is genuinely fierce, even on a mild day. Locals say 'slip, slop, slap' and mean it. A morning at Bondi without sunscreen will leave you red by lunch. Hat, high-factor cream, and a shirt for the middle of the day; the UV index here runs higher than almost anywhere you've burned before.

When to Go
Australia is a continent, so the answer depends where you go, but the broad window for the southern cities. Sydney, Melbourne, the wine country. Is the spring-to-autumn stretch of September to April, when the days are long and warm without the deep-winter chill of June to August. The tropical north flips: Cairns and the reef are best in the dry season from May to October, while December to March there is hot, wet, and stinger season in the sea. Sydney and Melbourne stay pleasant through their summer; only the interior and the far north truly bake.
