5 Nights / 6 Days, in order
Day 1
Arrival in Paro and Drive to Thimphu
Meeting at airport upon arrival by Office Personnel. Transfer to hotel. Arrive at Paro Airport. Complete Immigration formalities and transfer to Thimphu. After checking into your hotel (Early Check-In subject to availability), proceed for a panoramic private sightseeing of the capital of Bhutan which includes the following places of interest:, Memorial Chorten, Kuensel Phodrang – World’s Largest Sitting Buddha Statue, Takin Reserve & Mini Zoo, BBS Tower – Provides a vantage point view of the Thimpu Valley. Dinner & overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 2
Thimphu Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for full day private sightseeing tour of Thimphu, which includes the following places of interest:, Folk Heritage Museum, Royal Textile Academy & Museum, Anim Dratshang (Nunnery), Trashichhodzong – Fortress in Thimphu, Handicrafts Emporium Dinner & overnight stay in Thimphu. (Note: On weekends, guests would also have the opportunity of visiting the weekend market, an interesting market with local items and bargain price handicraft goods)

Thimphu to Punakha

Punakha to Paro
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and proceed to Paro. The Paro valley extends from the confluence of the Paro Chhu and the Wang Chhu rivers at Chuzom upto Mt. Jomolhari at the Tibetan border to the North. This picturesque region is one of the widest valleys in the kingdom and is covered in fertile rice fields and has a beautiful, crystalline river meandering down the valley. After checking into your hotel, you would proceed for a private sightseeing tour of Paro which would include the following places:, Drukgyel Dzong – Ruins of an old fortress in Paro, Kyichu Lakhang – Famous Monastery in Paro, National Museum of Bhutan Dinner & overnight stay in Paro. +----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | After breakfast, proceed toward Punakha. Paro Day Excursions
After breakfast, proceed for a day excursion to Chele La pass (12,200ft) - The highest motorable point in Bhutan. On a clear day one can get a breath-taking view of Mt.Jhomolhari (23,996 ft the second highest peak of Bhutan) and other Himalayan giants. Visit Paro Dzong while returning to Paro. Or, After breakfast visit Taktsang Monastery – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It requires 2-3 hours’ trek. Dinner & overnight stay in Paro.

Bhutan charges a Sustainable Development Fee of about USD 100 per adult per day. Built into the trip cost, not a surprise at the border. It funds the country's free healthcare and education. Many cheaper operators omit it and load it on later; Tibro's quote already includes it.
Tiger's Nest in trainers
The climb to Taktshang is 3–4 hours up, on graded paths and stone steps. Not technical. Light trail runners do the job; heavy boots are overkill. Carry a thin layer for the top: the wind off the cliff drops the temperature ten degrees in two minutes.
Driglam Namzha
Bhutan's code of etiquette: walk left around chortens and prayer wheels, never point with your feet, never photograph monks or inside dzongs without explicit permission. Your guide will translate the rules in real time; you just need to watch his cues.

When to Go
Bhutan has four crisp seasons. Spring (March–May) is the festival window. Rhododendrons bloom and tsechus run in most dzongs. Autumn (September–November) is the prettiest light, with clear mountain views from Dochula Pass and Paro. June–August is monsoon: the paths turn muddy and the Tiger's Nest views close in. December–February is cold and quiet. Bookable, but pack for sub-zero nights.
Tibro times Paro nights to coincide with the spring tsechu when you ask for it; in autumn the same itinerary pivots to Thimphu's drubchen festival weekend if your dates align.
