Botswana is where safari travellers go after they have done Kenya and Tanzania. The Okavango is the world's largest inland delta. A mokoro polled through papyrus reeds at first light. Chobe is the river with the elephants. Three Okavango nights, two Chobe. Best between May and October. The dry season, when the delta floods from Angola.

on how we work.
Tibro has been routing Botswana since 2020. Five years of Okavango Delta camps and Chobe river afternoons.
We work with two delta-camp operators and a Chobe river boat partner on retainer year-round.
One route is what we currently maintain. The delta-and-Chobe five-night is the most-requested; we route the delta first because the Chobe river evening is the right way to close a Botswana week.

Three delta nights at a small camp, two Chobe river. The mokoro morning on day two. The poler standing behind us, papyrus to either side, and a lion roaring two hundred metres away. Was the trip's loudest silence. The Chobe sunset boat with twenty elephants on the bank closed it.

Delta, Chobe, Victoria Falls. The land transfer from Kasane to Vic Falls the studio routed was a one-hour drive across the border that felt like an entirely new chapter.
