Croatia is a country that lives on the coast. Dubrovnik for the walls; Split for the Diocletian's-palace old town; Hvar, Brač, Korčula for the islands; Plitvice and Krka for the karst-waterfall mornings inland. Three Dubrovnik days, three Split-and-islands, one Plitvice on the way north. Best between May and June or September. Peak summer fills the small islands beyond comfort.

A small note
on how we work.
Tibro has been routing Croatia since 2019. Six years of Dubrovnik wall-walks, Split palace evenings, Hvar harbour days, and the Croatia-and-Slovenia ten-night arcs that travellers come back wanting to do again in shoulder season.
We work with a Split-based partner who handles the ferry-and-island logistics and a Dubrovnik coordinator for the wall-and-old-town mornings.
Two routes is what we currently maintain. The Dalmatian-coast seven-night is the most-requested; we route Dubrovnik first so the second-trip-day light on the walls is the trip's first photograph.

Dalmatian coast, seven nights, September 2024
Three Dubrovnik, one Hvar, three Split. The Dubrovnik wall-walk at six in the morning gave us the city alone. The cruise-ship crowd starts at ten. The Hvar harbour evening with a small-boat captain was the trip's surprise. We came home wanting to do the islands by yacht.

Croatia & Slovenia, ten nights, May 2024
Three Dubrovnik, two Split, Plitvice morning, two Ljubljana, two Lake Bled. The Plitvice waterfall walk at first light before the bus tours arrived was the trip's other peak. Two countries felt one-trip thanks to the studio's drive-and-handover.
