Day 1
Arrive Athens – Welcome to Greece!
On arrival at Athens Airport (around 12:00 – 14:00 hrs, depending on your flight), meet your driver and transfer by private car to your hotel. After check-in at the hotel by 15:00 hrs, settle in and relax for a while. The evening (around 17:00 hrs onwards) is free at leisure, giving you the opportunity to explore the charming streets of Prague at your own pace or simply unwind at the hotel. Day 2
Athens City Tour With Acropolis and Acropolis Museum - Half Day Tour
After having breakfast at the hotel, today proceed for half day Athens city tour. This tour gives you an opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city. Our expert guides will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896 (short stop). Continue and pass by the Prime Minister's residence (ex. Royal Palace) guarded by the Euzones in their colorful uniform, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian's Arch, the Parliament and the memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma). On the Acropolis visit the Architectural Masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally "the harmony between material and spirit", the monument that "puts order in the mind", the Parthenon. Continue and visit the place where at last the statues found their home and admire the wonders of the classical era: The new Acropolis Museum. Overnight stay in hotel in Athens.
Day 3
Athens – Budapest- Sunset Danube Cruise
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Athens Airport to board your domestic flight to Budapest. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and complete the check-in formalities. In the evening, around 18:30 hrs, proceed for a sunset Danube River Cruise. One of the most captivating experiences the city has to offer. As you glide along the river, admire Budapest’s iconic landmarks beautifully illuminated at dusk, including the Hungarian Parliament Building, Buda Castle, Chain Bridge, and Fisherman’s Bastion. The golden glow of the city against the evening sky creates a truly magical ambience. After the cruise, return to your hotel. Overnight stay at your hotel in Budapest.
Day 4
Budapest Private Guided Walking Tour
Begin your day with a delicious buffet breakfast at your hotel (07:30 – 08:30 hrs). After breakfast, set out to admire the scenic UNESCO-listed Danube riverfront, where you can enjoy stunning views and photo opportunities. Around 09:00 hrs, visit the bustling Central Market Hall, the perfect spot to experience local flavors and shop for souvenirs. From there, continue to the Jewish Quarter, home to Europe’s largest synagogue. Take time to appreciate the rich cultural history before heading towards City Park to see the famous Széchenyi Thermal Bath, the largest thermal bath complex in Europe. By 11:30 hrs, proceed along the route to capture photos of some of Budapest’s most iconic landmarks, including the National Museum, Hungarian Parliament Building, Western Railway Station, Vajdahunyad Castle, and Heroes’ Square. Continue around 13:00 hrs with a stroll down the elegant Andrássy Avenue, a UNESCO World Heritage Site lined with luxury boutiques and grand architecture. Visit the lavish Hungarian State Opera House from the outside and then stop at the magnificent St. Stephen’s Basilica, where you can peek inside to admire its ornate interiors. In the afternoon, cross the Chain Bridge into Buda (around 15:00 hrs) to explore the medieval castle district. Visit Trinity Square, Fisherman’s Bastion, and the beautiful Matthias Church, each offering spectacular views and Gothic charm. Vienna Hop on Hop Off + SchöNbrunn Palace Skip the Line

Things to Look Out For
Book the fast ferry early
The Cyclades run on ferries, and the fast catamarans between Mykonos and Santorini sell out in high summer. Book the crossing the moment your dates are fixed, not on arrival. The fast boats do the hop in a couple of hours; the slow ones take most of a day. Sit inside in a meltemi wind, when the open Aegean gets choppy enough to spoil the deck.

Everyone on Santorini converges on Oia for the famous sunset, and the lane to the castle ruins becomes a slow-moving crowd an hour before. Either claim a spot. Or a bar terrace with a view. Well ahead, or skip the scrum entirely and watch from Imerovigli or your own caldera-side hotel. The light is the same; the elbows are optional.

Plan Your Timing
When to Go
Greece in the islands is a shoulder-season country. May into June, and September into early October, give you warm sea, open tavernas and bearable crowds. The sweet spot. July and August are hot and packed, with the meltemi wind whipping the Aegean and Santorini's lanes shoulder-to-shoulder; go then only if school holidays force it. Athens and the mainland sights are fine year-round, but winter on the islands is wet and quiet, with many hotels and ferries shut down until spring.
