Day 1
Arrive in Helsinki
Welcome to the Land of a Thousand Lakes! Upon arrival in Finland’s vibrant capital city, Helsinki, complete the immigration formalities and proceed to your hotel in the comfort of a private vehicle. After check-in, take some time to relax and acclimatize to the new surroundings. The remainder of the day is at leisure, giving you the perfect opportunity to explore the city at your own pace. You may stroll through the charming streets of Helsinki, admire its neoclassical architecture, visit lively market squares, or simply soak in the Scandinavian atmosphere. In the evening, return to your hotel and unwind. Overnight stay at your hotel in Helsinki.
Day 2
Day Trip to Tallinn, Estonia
After breakfast at the hotel, begin your exciting full-day trip to Tallinn, Estonia. You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning and transferred to the Helsinki terminal to board the cruise to Tallinn. On arrival at the Tallinn port, meet your local guide who will accompany you on a 3-hour guided walking tour of Tallinn’s medieval Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stroll through cobblestone streets lined with Gothic spires, historic merchant houses, and charming squares as you discover the city’s rich Hanseatic history and cultural heritage. After the guided tour, enjoy 3 hours of free time to explore at your own pace. You may savor a traditional Estonian lunch at one of the quaint cafés, shop for souvenirs, or capture beautiful photographs of the fairy-tale Old Town. Later, your guide will escort you back to the Tallinn harbour to board the return cruise to Helsinki. During your journey, you can enjoy the onboard entertainment, indulge in duty-free shopping, relish the exquisite buffet, or simply relax on the deck while admiring the scenic views of the Baltic Sea coastline. Arrive back in Helsinki by evening. Overnight stay at your hotel in Helsinki.
Day 3
Helsinki to Rovaniemi
After breakfast at the hotel in Helsinki, check out and transfer to the airport for your flight to Rovaniemi, the official hometown of Santa Claus and the gateway to the magical Lapland region. Upon arrival at Rovaniemi Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your unique accommodation – the Glass Igloo. Set amidst the pristine Arctic wilderness, this extraordinary stay offers you a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Settle into your cozy igloo, specially designed with a heated glass roof that provides uninterrupted panoramic views of the starry Arctic skies. Day 4
Northern Lights Chase – Rovaniemi
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and complete your check-out formalities. Upon arrival in Rovaniemi, check in to your hotel and safely leave your luggage before heading out. In the afternoon, set off on a truly unique experience – glide through serene snow-covered forests and along frosted trails on a Traditional Reindeer Sleigh, immersing yourself in the age-old Lapland tradition. Later, return to the city and prepare for an enchanting Northern Lights adventure. Journey away from the city’s glow into the Arctic wilderness to chase the mesmerizing Aurora Borealis, as vibrant colours dance across the pitch-dark northern sky. Overnight stay at your hotel in Rovaniemi.
Day 5
Visit to Ranua Wildlife Park
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, set out for an excursion to Ranua Wildlife Park, one of the most popular attractions in Lapland. Established nearly 40 years ago, the park is dedicated to the care and preservation of arctic and northern animal species. Here, you can encounter over 50 different species, including polar bears, lynxes, owls, moose, arctic foxes, and many more, all living in spacious enclosures designed to replicate their natural habitats within the northern coniferous forest. Later, visit the Husky Park, where you will have the chance to meet these energetic and friendly dogs. Experience the thrill of a husky ride as the eager huskies pull you through the snowy landscapes, offering both adventure and an authentic touch of Lapland tradition. Return to the hotel. Day 6
Santa Claus Village, Husky and Reindeer Safari

Stroll through the magical village, explore its charming shops, and experience the festive spirit that surrounds this iconic destination. Later, feel your heart race with excitement as you embark on a thrilling Snowmobile Safari. After a day full of Arctic wonders and exhilarating activities, return to Rovaniemi. Day 7
Departure
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to Rovaniemi Airport for your flight to Helsinki. Things to Look Out For

Nobody can promise you the aurora. It needs a clear sky and an active sun, and either can let you down on a given night. The fix is to give yourself nights, not a night: three or four in Lapland between late August and early April, away from town light. Most resorts run a wake-up alarm if the sky clears at 2am, and a glass-roofed igloo lets you watch from the bed.
Layers, and trust the snowsuit
Lapland in deep winter runs to minus 20 and below, but it's a dry cold and the resorts hand you a thermal snowsuit and boots for the safaris. Wear thin layers underneath, not one thick coat, and the gear does the rest. The mistake is cotton next to the skin; it holds sweat and chills you. Merino base layer, then fleece, then the suit.

The Santa Claus Village sits right on the Arctic Circle line outside Rovaniemi, and Finland has long played it as the official one. You can meet Santa year-round, post a card with the Arctic Circle stamp, and step over the painted Circle for the photo. It's frankly commercial, but with children along it's the heart of the trip. Go early; the coach groups arrive by eleven.

When to Go
Finland is really two trips. Deep winter. December to March. Is the Lapland season everyone pictures: snow, the aurora overhead, husky and reindeer sleds, Santa at Rovaniemi, and the polar twilight. Summer, June to August, flips entirely: the midnight sun never quite sets, the lakes warm enough to swim, and Helsinki comes alive on its terraces. The shoulder months are the ones to skip. The dark, snowless run of November, and the muddy thaw of April into May.
