Day 1
Arrive Reykjavik
Private pick up at the airport by your private transport and driver guide who will greet you upon arrival. Depending on your arrival time – if you are in the afternoon it is simply just lovely to relax after the long flight in the brand new Skylagoon www.skylagoon.is – even in cold weather it is amazing to sit in the hot water, relax in the beautiful sauna and treat your self with special Icelandic scrubs that soften and sooth your skin. After this nice treatment, drive to the hotel for check-in and dinner is served at the hotel
Day 2
Reykjavik City Day
City sightseeing to get to know this small but lively capital, visit the main landmarks and learn about its history. You will meet your guide in the hotel lobby and from there go for a 2,5 hrs walking tour of the city. .Then couple of hours at own leisure down town. Visit the Fly Over Iceland and Perlan Museum.
Day 3
Thingvellir and Golden Circle – Vik
Breakfast at your hotel. (Local Buffet) Today you visit the famous landmarks called the Golden Circle. You visit Thingvellir national Park, the Gullfoss waterfall – which is most likely is frozen in November. It is magnificant to see this powerful waterfall completely still and frozen. Then to the hot spring area geysir, where the geysir Strokkur sprouts 100°C hot water meters above the ground all year around. You will have a lunch refreshment at Fridheimar family run greenhouse and farm and learn about how vegetables are grown in Iceland. Drive all the way to Vík
Day 4
Reykjavik - South Coast Tour - Vik
Breakfast at your hotel. (Local Breakfast) Drive to the black lava sand beach, and visit the Lava Centre exhibition on the way, and learn about how celandic nation has lived next to active volcanos for centuries, last eruption to affect the farmers was in a nearby volcano Eyjafjallajokull in 2020, that had major effects on flights in Europe for weeks. At the black lava beach, Reynisfjara you experience the powerful Atlantic ocean, with heavy waves bounching on the shore. Just be careful, as it can be dangerous to go too close - the ocean is powerful.
Day 5
Vik – Akureyri.
Breakfast at your hotel (Local Buffet) Today will be a logn day as you drive all the way to Akureyri. You will pass the town of Borgarnes, Hvammstangi, Blondos before arriving to Akureyri. The drive can be 7 hours.
Day 6
Akureyri
After a quite morning, you head the road again. You drive to the waterfall Godafoss on the way to Husavik village Husavik, a typical fishing town. Distance from Akureyri to Husavik is 1 hours. Then you continue north from Husavik to Asbyrgi Canyon, 45 minutes. After lunch you will drive to Lake Myvatn is a volcanic lake located in northern Iceland, approximately 90 kilometers east of Akureyri. It is the fourth-largest lake in Iceland, spanning about 37 square kilometers.
Day 7
Blue Lagoon
Today you head back to Reykjavik which is around 5 hrs drive. From there you go to bath in the warm geothermal water of the Blue Lagoon. Enjoy the mineral-rich warmth of the Blue Lagoon. Wander around, float in the healing waters, socialize or meditate - relax as you see fit. Your entrance includes a complimentary drink from the swim-up bar. Choose from juices, smoothies, soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages.
Day 8
Depart Reykjavik
Breakfast at your hotel. Free time till it's time for your departure. Your hotel in only 5 min from the airport and they have free airport shuttle. ## *** END OF SERVICES ***

Iceland's winter air sits around zero. Not punishing on its own. What strips warmth from you is the wind, which along the south coast can hit 70 km/h on an ordinary afternoon. Layer for windproofing first (Gore-Tex or equivalent shell), insulation second. Skip the bulky parka.
F-roads and the F-word
Outside the Ring Road, F-roads (Iceland's highland tracks, marked with an F prefix) are unpaved, river-forded, and closed October to June. Your hire-car insurance does not cover them. Gravel chip damage is also commonly excluded. Stick to the Ring; let your guide drive when the forecast turns.

The aurora needs three things: KP index ≥ 3, clear sky, and a dark horizon. Reykjavik's city lights kill the third. Tibro builds in four nights outside the capital (Vik, Akureyri) precisely for this. By night four your odds of a strong show are over 70%.

Plan Your Timing
When to Go
Iceland in November–March is the aurora window. Short daylight (5–7 hours), aggressive weather, and the most reliable nights for the lights. June–August flips the script entirely: 21 hours of sun, every road open, midnight light over the glaciers. Spring and autumn are short shoulders most travelers skip.
Tibro books the northern coast (Akureyri) for at least two nights in any aurora-season package. Reykjavik's light pollution kills the lights for most of the city.
