Day 2
Day Trip to Pisa and Leaning Tower
After breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for day trip to Pisa and leaning tower. A splendid excursion through the Tuscan countryside to the art city of Pisa. Upon arrival, your informative guide will take you on a guided walking tour of Piazza dei Miracoli and its monuments, where you will admire the wonderful architecture of unique buildings, called in the past “Miracles” because of their incredible beauty. You will be dazzled by this marvelous square, by the Cathedral where you will visit the indoor part, the celebrated Leaning Tower. Overnight stay at hotel in Florence.
Day 3
Florence to Naples
After breakfast at the hotel. Check out from the hotel. Proceed to train from Florence to Naples. Check In at the hotel. Relax or explore the city on your own.
Day 4
Naples to Amalfi Coast Full Day Trip
After breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for a day trip from Naples to Amalfi Coast. Admire the view from the surrounding mountains and stroll through the narrow streets of the historic center dotted with fashion and local craft stores. Savor the local cuisine, famous for its dishes of fresh fish and Mediterranean vegetables. Next, your tour will take you to refined Sorrento, the pearl of the Sorrentine Peninsula. Visit the historic center and discover its hidden treasures, such as the Sorrento Cathedral, Baroque churches, and the striking Cloister of San Francesco. Don't forget to taste limoncello, a local liqueur made from the area's lemons. Finally, your tour will take you to discover Pompeii, the ancient city buried by Vesuvius in 79 AD. Capri Island Day Tour

The evening passeggiata
Around six, before dinner, every Italian town empties into its main street and central piazza. Families, grandparents, teenagers, all walking slowly in their good clothes for no reason but to be seen and to see. Join it. Order an aperitivo, stand at the bar (it costs less than sitting), and watch a town do what it has done every evening for centuries.
Coperto and the bill
Most restaurants add a per-head cover charge, the coperto, usually two to four euros. For the bread and the table. It's normal, not a scam, and tipping on top is not expected the way it is at home; round up if the service was warm. Cappuccino after eleven in the morning will mark you as a tourist, but no one will stop you.
Pre-book the big sights
The Vatican Museums, the Uffizi in Florence, the Accademia for Michelangelo's David, the Colosseum. All of them sell timed-entry tickets, and in season the on-the-day queues run two and three hours in full sun. Book the slot before you fly. When to Go
The Italian windows are spring and early autumn, April to June, then September and October. When the cities are warm but walkable, the light is long, and the August crowds have gone. July and August are hot, expensive, and half-shuttered: Italians take their own holidays then, and many city restaurants close while the coast and lakes fill. November to March is cool and quiet, good for the museums and the food but short on daylight.
