Day 1
Arrive Nairobi – the Capital City
08:00 AM - Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you will meet our representative just outside the arrivals area. 09:00 AM - Following a warm welcome, you’ll transfer to your hotel, which is approximately a 30-minute drive away. 09:30 AM - Once you arrive, take some time to settle in and freshen up. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure; you might choose to relax at the hotel or explore nearby attractions. 12:30 AM - For lunch, you can either dine at the hotel or venture out to a local restaurant. 07:00 PM - In the evening, proceed to visit Giraffe Centre. The Giraffe Centre is located in Lang'ata, approximately 20 kilometres from the centre of Nairobi, Kenya. It was established in order to protect the vulnerable giraffe, that is found only in the grasslands of East Africa. Afterwards enjoy dinner at your hotel or explore the vibrant dining scene in Nairobi. After a day of travel and leisure, rest up for the adventures that await. Overnight stay at hotel in Nairobi. Nairobi is Kenya’s capital city. In addition to its urban core, the city has Nairobi National Park, a large game reserve known for breeding endangered black rhinos and home to giraffes, zebras and lions. Next to it is a well-regarded elephant orphanage operated by the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.

Nairobi – Lake Nakuru - 3 Hr 20 Min 160 Km
07:00 AM - Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel around. By 8:00 AM, you’ll depart Nairobi for a scenic drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, enjoying the picturesque landscapes along the way. 12:00 PM – Arrive at the park, where you'll check in at the lodge. Take some time to relax and soak in the stunning surroundings. 1:00 PM - Indulge in a delicious lunch at the lodge, featuring local and international cuisine. 03:00 PM - After lunch, prepare for an exhilarating evening game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. This park is renowned for its rich ecological diversity, including flocks of flamingos and a variety of other water birds. You’ll also have the opportunity to spot approximately 56 species of mammals, such as the majestic white and black rhinos, buffaloes, and more. 06:30 PM - You’ll return to the lodge around, giving you time to unwind before dinner. 07:00 PM - Enjoy a delightful dinner at the lodge, where you can reflect on the day's adventures. Overnight stay at the lodge in Lake Nakuru. Lake Nakuru is one of the Rift Valley lakes, located at an elevation of 1,754 m above sea level. It lies to the south of Nakuru, in the rift valley of Kenya and is protected by Lake Nakuru National Park. The lake's abundance of algae used to attract a vast quantity of flamingos that famously lined the shore.
Day 3
Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara – 4 Hr 225 Km
07:00 AM - Begin your day with a delightful breakfast at the lodge, savouring local Flavors and refreshing beverages. 08:00 AM - Afterward, check out and prepare to depart for the Masai Mara National Reserve. The journey will take you through stunning landscapes, offering glimpses of the local culture and wildlife along the way. 12:30 PM - You should arrive at the reserve, just in time for a satisfying lunch at your chosen lodge. Take a moment to relax and recharge before the afternoon's adventures. 02:30 PM - Set off on an exciting afternoon game drive. The Masai Mara is renowned for its rich biodiversity, making it one of the best places for wildlife viewing in Africa. As you explore the vast savannah, keep an eye out for the iconic Masai giraffes, massive buffalos, and elands. You’ll also encounter thousands of plains game, including impalas, zebras, topis, and gazelles, all of which contribute to the dynamic ecosystem. 07:00 PM - After an exhilarating day of wildlife spotting, return to the lodge in the early evening. Enjoy a delicious dinner featuring a variety of local and international dishes, providing the perfect opportunity to reflect on the day's incredible experiences with fellow travelers. Overnight stay at the lodge in Masai Mara. Maasai Mara National Reserve is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. Its animals include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration. The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek rivers. The area nearby is dotted with villages (enkangs) of Maasai people.
Day 4
Masai Mara National Reserve
06:30 AM - Start your day with an early morning game-viewing drive, where you might be lucky enough to witness an animal kill in action. 09:00 AM - Return to the lodge by for a hearty breakfast. 10:30 AM - Following your meal, take an optional visit to a nearby Masai village to interact with the locals and learn about their culture, with opportunities for shopping for local handicrafts. 01:00 PM - After a fulfilling morning, return to the lodge for a sumptuous lunch. 03:00 PM - Wrap up your day with dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge in Masai Mara, reflecting on your exciting experiences.
Day 5
Masai Mara National Reserve
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge before setting out for a thrilling day of game drives in the Masai Mara National Reserve. 07:30 AM - Depart for the morning game drive where you'll have the chance to spot a variety of wildlife. 12:30 PM - Return to the lodge for lunch. 02:30 PM - After a relaxing meal, head out for an afternoon game drive to continue your exploration of this incredible reserve. As you venture into the vast savannah, you'll be surrounded by stunning landscapes, from rolling hills to acacia-dotted plains. Keep your camera ready, as the Mara is renowned for its diverse wildlife, including the Big Five: lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, and rhinos. After a day filled with adventure, return to the lodge for dinner. Overnight stay at the lodge in Masai Mara.
Day 6
Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha – 3hr 50 Mins 218 Km
08:00 AM - Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the lodge before departing from Masai Mara for Lake Naivasha. 12:00 PM - You'll arrive at the lodge just in time to check in and enjoy a delicious lunch. 01:00 PM - After lunch, set out for a scenic boat ride on Lake Naivasha, where you’ll glide among flocks of flamingos and have the chance to see impressive hippos. Spend your afternoon at leisure, soaking in the stunning views and vibrant wildlife. In the evening, return to the lodge for a delightful dinner, providing the perfect opportunity to reflect on the day’s unforgettable experiences. Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake in Kenya, outside the town of Naivasha in Nakuru County, which lies north west of Nairobi. It is situated in the Great Rift Valley.
Day 7
Lake Naivasha to Nairobi – Departure 2hr - 105 Km
08:00 AM - Start your day with breakfast at the lodge before checking out. Afterward, embark on your drive back to Nairobi, enjoying the scenic views along the way. 12:00 PM - You should arrive in Nairobi by allowing time for lunch at a local restaurant or café. After lunch, you’ll be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight back home. When to Go
Kenya runs on two dry seasons and two rain seasons. June to October is the long dry. Golden grass, wildebeest crossings, the iconic safari window. January to February is a quieter shoulder with clear skies and far fewer vehicles. The long rains (March-May) are when most camps close.
Tibro books Mara nights in the wildebeest window when you ask for it; in shoulder months we shift you toward Samburu or Amboseli for fewer vehicles and equally good big-cat sightings.
