Day 1
Arrive Nairobi
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you will be warmly welcomed by our local representative. After completing immigration and customs formalities, you will be transferred in comfort to your hotel in the heart of the city. Once checked in, take some time to relax and unwind after your journey. The remainder of the day is free for you to enjoy at your leisure. Whether you choose to rest in the comfort of your hotel, explore the nearby surroundings, or sample local cuisine at a nearby restaurant. Overnight stay at your hotel in Nairobi.
Day 2
Nairobi – Aberdare National Park
After enjoying a relaxed breakfast at your hotel, begin your scenic drive to the Aberdare region, which takes approximately 3.5 hours. The journey offers beautiful views of the Kenyan countryside, with rolling hills, tea and coffee plantations, and glimpses of local village life along the way. You will arrive at the Aberdare Country Club in time for a freshly prepared lunch in a peaceful setting surrounded by nature. After lunch, you'll transfer to The Ark Lodge, a unique lodge built in the shape of Noah’s Ark and located deep in the Aberdare National Park. Please remember to carry only an overnight bag, as larger luggage will be securely stored at the Country Club during your stay. The Ark Lodge is specially designed for wildlife viewing. With its multiple viewing decks and a waterhole and salt lick nearby, you can enjoy close-up sightings of animals like elephants, buffalo, and bushbuck. Often right from the comfort of your lounge chair. Settle in and spend the evening watching the natural activity unfold in this peaceful forest setting. Overnight stay at the Ark Lodge. Note: You are required to pack an overnight bag when you transfer to the Lodge for the night.
Day 3
Aberdare to Samburu National Reserve
After a leisurely breakfast, check out from you r lodge and depart for Samburu National Reserve, located in Kenya’s northern region. The drive takes approximately 3.5 hours and offers changing landscapes. From lush highlands to the drier, rugged terrain typical of Samburu. You will arrive at your lodge or camp in Samburu just in time to enjoy a delicious lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, head out on an exciting game drive through the reserve, known for its unique wildlife not commonly seen in other parks, such as the Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, and the beisa oryx. The park is also home to elephants, lions, leopards, and a variety of bird species. After your game drive, return to the lodge for dinner and relax under the stars, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness. Overnight stay in Samburu.
Day 4
Game Drives at Samburu National Reserve
Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the lodge, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of nature. After breakfast, set out on an exciting morning game drive through Samburu National Reserve. The cooler early hours are ideal for spotting wildlife as animals are more active. Keep your eyes open for elephants, lions, and the unique species that call this region home, such as the gerenuk, Grevy’s zebra, and reticulated giraffe. Return to the lodge in time for lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, head back into the reserve for another thrilling game drive, offering a different perspective as the lighting changes and animals begin to gather near water sources. The dramatic landscape, with its open savannah, acacia trees, and the Ewaso Nyiro River, provides the perfect backdrop for wildlife photography and memorable sightings. As the sun sets, return to your lodge for dinner and unwind under the stars.
Day 5
Samburu to Lake Naivasha
After a leisurely breakfast, check out from your lodge in Samburu and begin your scenic journey to Lake Naivasha, located in the Great Rift Valley. The drive takes approximately 6 hours and offers ever-changing landscapes. From the dry northern plains to the lush greenery and fertile farmlands of the Rift Valley region. Along the way, you may catch glimpses of local villages and enjoy panoramic views of the Kenyan countryside. Upon arrival at your lodge by the lake, you will be welcomed with a refreshing drink and served a relaxing lunch. The rest of the afternoon is free for you to enjoy at your leisure. Take a stroll through the beautifully landscaped gardens, unwind by the lake, or simply relax and soak in the peaceful natural surroundings. Overnight stay in Naivasha.
Day 6
Naivasha to Masai Mara
After a relaxed breakfast at your lodge in Naivasha, check out and begin your journey to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve, a drive of approximately 5 hours. As you travel through the scenic Great Rift Valley and across the open plains, enjoy the changing landscapes and occasional glimpses of wildlife and local Maasai villages along the way. You’ll arrive at your lodge or camp in Masai Mara in time for a delicious lunch and some time to freshen up. In the afternoon, set off on your first game drive in the reserve, which is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five. Lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino. As well as cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and countless antelope species. The vast savannahs and dramatic skies create a perfect backdrop for unforgettable wildlife encounters. After your game drive, return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.
Day 7
Full Day Masai Mara
Begin your day with a hearty breakfast at the lodge, taking in the fresh morning air and the breathtaking views of the Masai Mara. After breakfast, set out on an early morning game drive, the best time to witness the wilderness come to life as predators hunt and herbivores graze in the soft golden light. Return to the lodge for lunch and a short rest before heading back out for an afternoon game drive. With its rich ecosystem and wide-open landscapes, the Masai Mara offers exceptional wildlife viewing, including the iconic African Big Five and a variety of bird species. The rolling plains dotted with acacia trees provide a classic safari experience, and every game drive brings the chance of new and exciting sightings. As the sun sets over the savannah, return to your lodge to enjoy dinner and unwind. Overnight stay in the Masai Mara.
Day 8
Departure
This Day marks the end of your safari. After breakfast leave Maasai mara for Nairobi with lunch enroute on your own. You will be transferred to the Airport for your flight back home *** END OF TOUR ***

Plan Your Timing
When to Go
Kenya runs on two dry seasons and two rain seasons. June to October is the long dry. Golden grass, wildebeest crossings, the iconic safari window. January to February is a quieter shoulder with clear skies and far fewer vehicles. The long rains (March-May) are when most camps close.
Tibro books Mara nights in the wildebeest window when you ask for it; in shoulder months we shift you toward Samburu or Amboseli for fewer vehicles and equally good big-cat sightings.
