Day 1
Day 01 – Delhi · Delhi → Jaipur
Report at Safdarjung Railway Station before 16:00. Check-in begins immediately after the traditional welcome ceremony as per Indian traditions. Garlanding, Tikka and Turban. The crew provides cabin guidance, welcome drinks and a facility briefing. The train departs at 18:30 toward Jaipur. Dinner is served in The Maharajah and The Maharani restaurants. Overnight aboard the train.
Day 2
Day 02 – Jaipur · Jaipur → Sawai Madhopur
The train arrives in the morning; breakfast at 7:00, excursion vehicles ready by 8:00, with a traditional Rajasthani welcome of Garlands and the Kali Ghodi Dance. Pre-lunch sightseeing covers the Albert Hall Museum, City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal and Amber Fort. Lunch is served at 13:30 at the 1135 AD restaurant inside Amber Fort, followed by an elephant ride at Amber Fort. Evening shopping at 17:00 in Jaipur's markets known for jewellery, handicrafts and trinkets. Return to the train by 19:00; dinner at 19:30. The train departs toward Sawai Madhopur at 20:00. Overnight aboard.
Day 3
Day 03 – Chittorgarh · Ranthambore → Chittorgarh
An early-morning jeep safari at Ranthambore National Park begins at 6:00. The chance to experience the tiger and other flora and fauna. Breakfast is served at 10:00 on the train; the train departs at 10:20 toward Chittorgarh, with lunch during the journey. Arrival at Chittorgarh by 15:00. After a rest, sightseeing begins at 16:00 at Chittorgarh Fort, which still resonates with the stories of Rajputana bravery. High tea at the fort restaurant; a sound-and-light programme begins at 18:00. Return to the train by 20:00 for dinner. The train remains at the railway station overnight.
Day 4
Day 04 – Udaipur · Udaipur → Jaisalmer
The train departs Chittorgarh in the morning and arrives in Udaipur at 7:00. Breakfast at 7:30; the sightseeing excursion begins at 9:00. Pre-lunch attractions: Saheliyon ki Bari, City Palace, Crystal Gallery and shopping. Around 13:00, guests take a boat ride on Lake Pichola to reach Jag Mandir Palace, followed by hi-tea aboard. Return to the train by 15:30; evening tea served immediately. The train departs toward Jaisalmer at 16:00. Dinner aboard. Overnight.
Day 5
Day 05 – Jaisalmer · Jaisalmer → Jodhpur
The train arrives at 9:00; breakfast available from 7:30. Sightseeing begins at 9:30: Gadisar Lake, Nathmal ji ki Haveli, Patwon ki Haveli, Jaisalmer Fort and a Heritage City Walk. Lunch on the train; afternoon at rest. A camel safari at the Sam sand dunes begins at 16:00. After tea, return to the train by 19:00. The evening is taken to the Gorbandh Palace for dinner with a live cultural programme. Return to the train near midnight; the train departs toward Jodhpur.
Day 6
Day 06 – Jodhpur · Jodhpur → Bharatpur
The train reaches Jodhpur in the morning; breakfast at 7:30, excursion vehicles ready at 9:00. Pre-lunch attractions: Mehrangarh Fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jaswant Thada and shopping if time permits. Lunch at 13:30 at the luxurious Ajit Bhawan Palace. Return to the train by 16:00. The afternoon is free to enjoy the train amenities. The train departs toward Bharatpur at 16:30. Dinner aboard at 19:30. Overnight aboard.
Day 7
Day 07 – Agra · Bharatpur → Agra
The train reaches Bharatpur early morning for an excursion to Keoladeo National Park (the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary) by rickshaw safari at 6:30. A haven for bird watchers, with 380 resident and migrant species. Return to the train by 8:45; breakfast follows. By 9:00 the train departs toward Agra, arriving at 11:00. Pre-lunch exploration of Agra Fort; lunch at 13:30 at a deluxe hotel. By 15:00, the Taj Mahal. One of the Seven Wonders of the World. Shopping until 18:00. Return; dinner at 19:30. The train departs toward Delhi at 20:45.
Day 8
Day 08 – Delhi · Delhi
The train reaches Delhi Safdarjung Station at 2:30 AM. Breakfast is served at 6:00; checkout formalities begin at 7:30. Passengers depart at their own pace, with the option to continue their vacation if desired.
