Arrive in Marrakech
Welcome to Morocco, Marrakech - clear immigration and get transferred to the hotel. Check-in to the hotel and freshen up. The evening is free for leisure. Explore the city on your own. Dinner. Overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 2
Marrakech – Essaouira – Casablanca
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before an early departure to Essaouira, formerly known as Mogador. This charming Portuguese city, once the capital of the hippie movement, is rich in history and home to the world’s oldest preserved fortified port. Enjoy an optional seafood lunch while exploring the coastal vibes. In the afternoon, head towards Casablanca via the scenic Atlantic Road, with picturesque stops in Oualidia and El Jadida. In El Jadida, take part in an orientation tour of the city, originally built by the Portuguese and known as Mazagan (“Mazagão”). You’ll also have the opportunity to visit the historic Portuguese Cistern. Conclude your day with dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 3
Casablanca – Meknes – Fez
Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a brief tour of Casablanca, Morocco’s Economic Capital. Highlights include the Habous district, the impressive Royal Palace, Mohamed V Square, the upscale Anfa residential area, and an exterior view of the iconic Hassan II Mosque. Afterwards, depart for Meknes, the Ismaili capital, renowned for its 40 km-long ramparts, the longest in Morocco. Enjoy an optional lunch before visiting key landmarks such as the magnificent Bab Mansour Gate, the historic Royal Stables, and the Jewish Quarter. Continue to the holy city of Moulay Idriss for a panoramic view, followed by a visit to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before dedicating the entire day to exploring Fez, the spiritual capital of Morocco. Discover the enchanting Medieval Medina and its bustling souks, followed by visits to the Royal Palace, the Attarine or Bou Anania Medersa, and the beautiful Nejjarine Fountain. You'll also see the exteriors of the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum and the historic Karaouine Mosque. Enjoy an optional lunch at a traditional restaurant within the Medina. In the afternoon, continue your immersive tour of the city’s rich cultural and historical sites. Conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel.

Fez – Rabat – Marrakech
Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel before departing for Rabat, the Administrative Capital of Morocco. Upon arrival, explore the city’s key landmarks, including the Royal Palace (Mechouar), a grand residence surrounded by beautifully manicured gardens, the Mohamed V Mausoleum, an exquisite example of traditional Moroccan architecture, and the iconic Hassan Tower Mosque, an incomplete minaret that stands as a symbol of Rabat’s rich history. Enjoy an optional seafood lunch at a local restaurant, savoring the fresh flavors of Morocco’s coastal cuisine. In the afternoon, continue your journey to Marrakesh via the highway, taking in the changing landscapes along the way. Upon arrival in Marrakesh, settle into your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6
Marrakech
Breakfast at the hotel. Embark on a full-day exploration of Marrakech, the enchanting "Ochre City" and the second oldest Imperial city in Morocco. Your historical journey will take you through iconic landmarks such as the serene Menara Gardens, the ornate Saadian Tombs, the opulent Bahia Palace, the towering Koutoubia Mosque, and the fascinating Dar Si Said Museum. Return to the hotel for a delicious lunch before diving into the vibrant heart of Marrakech in the afternoon. Wander through the bustling souks and artisan quarters, where traditional crafts come to life, and immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of Jemaa El-Fna Square, famous for its continuous street performances and local charm. Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Zagora
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Ait Benhaddou via the Tizi N’Tichka Pass, soaring to 2,260 meters. Explore the renowned Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site featured in films like Lawrence of Arabia, Troy, Gladiator, and Game of Thrones. Day 8
Zagora – Nkob – Tazzarine – Erfoud
After breakfast, depart from the hotel and head towards Casablanca for a guided city tour, exploring its key landmarks and vibrant culture. Following the tour, continue your journey to Erfoud, making a stop at Tamgroute village, famous for its traditional pottery center. The route takes you through the charming villages of Tansikht, Nkob, Tazzarine, and Alnif, offering breathtaking views of pre-Saharan landscapes. Enjoy an optional lunch in Alnif before resuming your trip. In the afternoon, proceed to Erfoud, passing through Rissani, the historic birthplace of the Alaouite Dynasty. Erfoud – Tinghir - Quarzazate
After breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Tinghir to visit the stunning Todra Canyons, where towering rock formations rise up to 250 meters. In the afternoon, continue your journey to Ouarzazate, traveling along the scenic Road of 1000 Kasbahs, passing through Kalaat M’Gouna and the Skoura Valley. Upon arrival in Ouarzazate, take a brief tour of the city. End your day with a delicious dinner and overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 10
Quarzazate - Marrakech
After breakfast, depart for Marrakech, one of Morocco’s most vibrant and historic cities. You’ll have the option to enjoy a leisurely lunch at a local restaurant, where you can sample the city’s rich flavors and traditional dishes. The afternoon is free for you to explore at your own pace, whether you want to visit the bustling souks, take a stroll through the beautiful Jardin Majorelle, or simply relax in a café. Alternatively, you can choose from a variety of optional excursions, such as a visit to the majestic Bahia Palace or a guided tour of the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square. After a day of exploration, return to your hotel for a delicious dinner and a restful overnight stay.

The full ritual runs about ninety minutes with the black soap, the rinse, the rest; book it for your second-to-last day, not your first, so you're not sore for the dunes.

When to Go
The Moroccan windows are spring and autumn, March to May, then September to November. When the imperial cities are warm by day and cool by night and the desert is bearable. June to August the interior bakes: Marrakech and the Sahara push past forty degrees, and the dunes are a dawn-and-dusk affair only. December to February is cool and clear in the cities, genuinely cold in the High Atlas and at night in the desert, with snow on the passes.
