Day 1
Arrive Zurich – Lucerne
Arrive Switzerland, the heart of Europe. Board your train from Zurich airport to Lucerne using Swiss Pass. Lucerne is a picturesque city in Switzerland, nestled by the shores of Lake Lucerne and surrounded by stunning alpine landscapes. It's known for its well-preserved medieval architecture, including landmarks like the Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke) and the Water Tower. The city also features the Lion Monument (Löwendenkmal), which commemorates Swiss Guards who died during the French Revolution. On arrival in Lucerne, make your own way to the hotel. You may choose to visit the Chapel Bridge, The Lion Monument, Swiss Transport Museum, the IMAX Theatre, Old City Squares or take a boat trip on Lake Lucerne. Overnight stay at your hotel in Lucerne. Lucerne, the gateway to central Switzerland, sited on Lake Lucerne, is embedded within an impressive mountainous panorama. Thanks to its attractions, its souvenir and watch shops, the beautiful lakeside setting and the nearby excursion mountains of the Rigi, Pilatus and Stanserhorn, the town is a destination for many travel groups and individuals on their journey through central Switzerland.
Day 2
Lucerne – Mt. Jungfraujoch
Enjoy buffet breakfast at the hotel. Later, make your own way Train from Lucerne to Interlaken and then take Train from Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen or Grindelwald: This memorable train trip from Interlaken OST takes you via Lauterbrunnen and Wenyen to the Kleine Scheidegg, at the foot of the famous Eiger North Wall. Then ascend by the Jungfrau Railway to the magnificent mountain world of eternal ice and snow, Jungfraujoch -at 3454mts, the highest railway station in Europe. Visit the Ice Palace, where you see a beautiful display of sculptures made of ice and Sphinx Terraces offering breath-taking views of the Aletsch Glacier, the longest glacier in the Alps. Overnight stay at your hotel in Lucerne.
Day 3
Lucerne – Mt. Titlis
Enjoy buffet breakfast at the hotel. A memorable experience awaits you as you depart on an excursion to the glacier paradise of Mount Titlis. Make your own way to Lucerne station to take a train ride to Engelberg station. Walk to the Titlis base point and enjoy 3 different cable car rides up to the beautiful summit of Mt. Titlis. Ride up the world’s first ever 360-degree revolving ROTAIR aerial gondola to the Mt. Titlis Glacier Paradise at 10,000 ft. for unlimited attractions. You have free time to play and enjoy in the snow. Visit the Ice Flyer, an enclosed sky lift that travels few meters over the Titlis glacier. Overnight stay at your hotel in Lucerne.
Day 4
Lucerne – Zurich
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Check – out and make your way on own to the train station to board a train to Zurich using Swiss Pass. On arrival in Zurich, reach your hotel on own. Upon reaching the hotel, check-in and relax. Later depart for an afternoon city tour of Zurich. Discover this unique city, winner of the award 'City of Best quality of life'! See the castle-like National Museum, the shopping and business centre on Bahnhofstrasse, the Limmatquai with its medieval Old Town and view to the Lindenhof, where the brave women of Zurich saved the city from the invaders, the largest church clock-face of Europe on St. Peter, the patriarchal Guild Houses, the Opera house with its famous June-Festivals, and the lake (picture stop). Enjoy the great experience travelling uphill on the cog-wheel railway into the 'Zurichberg' district with its recently renovated noble five-star Grand Hotel Dolder and many superb mansions of glorious past times. You will see the University and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zuerich). Its most famous student and professor was Albert Einstein. Finally, there will be a stop in the Old Town at Fraumunster Church, where you will admire the world-famous Chagall-Windows with detailed explanations. After this, your guide will invite you to a short stroll through the Old Town of Zurich. Overnight stay at your hotel in Zurich. Zurich is the largest city of the Swiss Confederation (Switzerland) by land area and population. It is the financial centre of Switzerland, houses the stock exchange and also home of FIFA's headquarter. As a «metropolis of experiences» by the water, with a magnificent view of the snow-capped Alps on the horizon, Zurich offers a unique mixture of attractions – over 50 museums and more than 100 art galleries, international fashion labels and Zurich designs, and the most flamboyant and lively nightlife in Switzerland. Recreational activities range from a visit to the riverside and lakeside bathing areas in the very heart of the city, to a spectacular hike on the Uetliberg mountain.
Day 5
Depart Zurich
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Later, check-out of your hotel and transfer on your own to the station to board your train to Zurich Airport. Buy it. The 8-day pass covers every train, boat, and most cable cars on this itinerary. Jungfraujoch and Titlis are the only big paid extras. Without it, individual tickets add up to roughly twice what the pass costs, and the convenience of skipping every ticket window is worth it on its own.

Jungfraujoch at 11,000 ft is brilliant in sun and a white-out in cloud. Same day, different hour. Move the high-altitude excursions to whichever morning the forecast looks clearest; everything else (Lucerne, Interlaken, Zurich old towns) reads fine in any weather. Plan Your Timing
When to Go
Switzerland runs on three windows. May through September is the Alpine summer. Every cable car running, every trail open, the lakes at their bluest. December through March is the ski season; the same villages are unrecognisable under snow. The shoulders (April, October–November) are either muddy or shut. The 9-night itinerary works best mid-summer.
Avoid late April / early May (Alpine pastures still closed) and November (lake fog, museums on reduced hours). Mid-June through mid-September is the prime window.
