Day 1
Ni Hao Taiwan – Welcome to Land of Formosa
Arrive at Taoyuan Airport (TPE). Complete the check-in formalities and proceed to hotel. Proceed to meet your private driver. Sit back and enjoy a comfortable drive to Taipei, the dynamic and modern capital city of Taiwan known for its lively night markets, impressive skyscrapers, and rich cultural heritage. Upon arrival in Taipei, head to your hotel for check-in. Standard hotel check-in time is 15:00 hrs. If you arrive earlier, you may store your luggage at the hotel and explore the nearby areas at leisure or relax in the hotel lounge. The rest of the day is at your disposal to unwind or begin exploring the city at your own pace. Overnight stay at your hotel in Taipei.
Day 2
Highlights of Taipei
Enjoy a delightful breakfast at the hotel. At 09:00 AM, your local English-speaking guide will meet you in the hotel lobby to begin a full day of sightseeing in Taiwan’s vibrant capital city. Start your day with a visit to the iconic Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, one of Taipei’s most famous landmarks. Witness the impressive changing of the guard’s ceremony, a must-see cultural experience. Next, head to the historic Lungshan Temple, a beautiful example of traditional Taiwanese architecture and spiritual devotion. Continue to the world-renowned Taipei 101 Tower, once the tallest building in the world until early 2010. Ride one of the fastest elevators in the world to the 89th-floor Observatory Deck, where you’ll enjoy a panoramic bird’s-eye view of Taipei’s skyline. In the afternoon, explore the National Palace Museum, home to one of the largest collections of ancient Chinese imperial artifacts and treasures – a true feast for history and art lovers. After dinner, experience the lively atmosphere of Shilin Night Market, one of the biggest and most popular night markets in Taiwan, where you can shop for souvenirs and sample a variety of local street food delicacies. Day 3
Day Tour to Northern Taiwan
Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the hotel. At 09:00 AM, meet your friendly guide in the hotel lobby and set off for a scenic excursion along Taiwan’s picturesque Northern Coast. Your first stop is the fascinating Yehliu Geopark, known for its unique rock formations sculpted by sea and wind, including the famous “Queen’s Head” and other naturally carved wonders. Soak in the stunning coastal views and learn about the park’s geological marvels. Next, travel to the charming hillside town of Jiufen Village. Once a gold mining town, Jiufen is now a nostalgic destination filled with quaint teahouses, narrow alleyways, and local souvenir shops. Don’t forget to try some traditional Taiwanese snacks while enjoying panoramic views of the coastline. Continue onward to Shifen, home to the scenic Shifen Waterfall, also known as Taiwan’s "Little Niagara". Afterwards, head to the nearby Shifen Old Street, located along the historic railway tracks. Experience the joy of writing your wishes on a sky lantern (shared among 2–5 people) and release it into the sky. A beloved tradition said to bring good fortune and fulfill your dreams. Day 4
Taipei Departure
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and complete your check-out by 11:00 AM. Spend the remaining time at your leisure. Perhaps take a final stroll through Taipei’s vibrant streets, grab some last-minute souvenirs, or enjoy a relaxing coffee at a local café. Afterwards meet your driver to transfer at the airport and board for your flight back to home from Taoyuan Airport (TPE), reflecting on the unforgettable escapades filled with incredible experiences and cherished memories. ***END OF TOUR***

Taiwanese 7-Elevens are not Western 7-Elevens. They are ATM, post office, train ticket counter, parcel pickup, hot meal stand, café, photocopy shop, and bill-payment terminal. Usually 24-hour, every two blocks. When in doubt, walk into the nearest one and ask.
Night markets, not restaurants
Shilin, Raohe, Ningxia. The real Taipei dinner is one hour of slow-walking between 30 stalls, eating in two-mouthful portions: scallion pancake, oyster omelette, stinky tofu, mango shaved ice. Cash only. Carry small bills and a friend with a stronger stomach than yours.
EasyCard everywhere
Buy a NT$100 EasyCard at the airport metro counter. It pays for every train, bus, YouBike rental, museum entry, and most convenience-store purchases on the island. Recharge at any MRT station; refund the balance at the airport on the way out. No app, no card-reader theatrics.

When to Go
Taiwan's sweet spot is October to April. Dry, mild (12–22°C), low humidity, no typhoons. May–September brings the rains, the humidity (90%+), and the typhoon season (peak in August). Cherry blossoms come in late February through March; the autumn festival lights are November.
Tibro's Taipei window is October–April; if you want cherry blossoms specifically, late February through mid-March is the narrow band.
