Tibro

    Seychelles,
    by the granite.

One island-hop journey. Three Mahé nights, two Praslin for the Coco-de-Mer palms, two La Digue for the granite beaches.

Preface, on the granite-and-turquoise islands of the Indian Ocean

Seychelles is the island group with the warmest granite in the world. Pink boulders piled onto white-sand beaches at Anse Source d'Argent and Anse Lazio. The Coco-de-Mer palm grows nowhere else on earth. Three Mahé, two Praslin, two La Digue. Best between April-May and October-November for the shoulder seasons between the two monsoons.

    A small note
    on how we work.

Tibro has been routing the Seychelles since 2020. Five years of seven-night island-hops across Mahé, Praslin, and La Digue.

We work with a Mahé-based partner who handles the ferry transfers and the hotel-hold-by-island room allocations.

One route is what we currently maintain. The three-island seven-night is the most-requested; we route La Digue last because the granite-pink photograph of the trip should be the ending one.

    Three-island seven-night, April 2024

Three Mahé, two Praslin, two La Digue. The La Digue morning at Anse Source d'Argent at six AM gave us the granite-and-turquoise photograph the country is built on. The Vallée de Mai walk on Praslin with a guide was an unexpected highlight. The Coco-de-Mer story is a real one.

Mahé & La Digue, five nights, October 2024

Three Mahé, two La Digue, no Praslin this time. The Tibro hotel pick on La Digue was a small property with twelve rooms and a bicycle for each guest. The simplicity was the point.

    Tell us how many
    islands.

Two questions decide a Seychelles trip: how many of the three main islands, and which window. April-May or October-November between the monsoons.
