    Why organisations run this.

    Impact

    Contribution you can point to

A classroom painted, a thousand mangroves planted, a water system installed, outcomes with photographs, partner letters, and numbers your sustainability report can cite.

    Meaning

    Engagement that surveys can't buy

Teams that build something together for someone else return with a different relationship to the company. Purpose delivered beats purpose stated in every engagement study you've read.

    Proof

    Documentation, not just memories

Every program closes with an outcomes note, what was done, with whom, and what continues after you leave, formatted for your CSR and ESG disclosures.

One way the days come together.

    3 nights, Rishikesh foothills

    Day 1

    Arrive and understand

Transfers and check-in, then the partner briefing: the community, the project's history, and what this cohort will actually complete. Dinner with the NGO's field team, not a hotel banquet.

    Day 2

Hands in, the first build day

Morning to mid-afternoon on the project: classroom restoration, planting drives, or a learning-materials workshop by skill bands. Evening debrief and a village-hosted dinner.

    Day 3

    Finish what you started

Second work session to completion and handover, the moment with the community that no offsite replicates. Free late afternoon by the river; closing circle after dinner.

    Day 4

    Leave it standing

Handover walkthrough with the NGO, group photograph at the site, transfers home. The outcomes note and photo record follow within two weeks.

Our graduate batch still has the school's photo as their group wallpaper. Three of them went back on their own leave to see the second classroom finished.

    CSR Lead, engineering conglomerate

    Planning questions, answered.

How are the NGO partners vetted?

Established organisations with audited accounts, a permanent field presence, and projects the community asked for. We visit before we commit, and we return after, continuity is part of the vetting.

Does this count as CSR spend under the Companies Act?

The travel itself generally doesn't, Schedule VII classification is your CSR committee's and auditors' call, and we don't advise on it. What we provide is the documentation trail: project records, partner letters, and outcomes notes that support whatever your team files.

    Do participants need any skills?

No, work is banded so every task has a role, from physical build work to teaching sessions to documentation. The NGO's field team supervises anything technical.

Is it safe? What about liability?

Work sessions are supervised, safety-briefed, and insured; sites are assessed in the scoping visit. We assist with group travel insurance and hold the emergency protocols every parent company asks about.

What happens to the project after we leave?

It continues, that's the vetting criterion. The partner NGO owns the project long-term, and adopting cohorts can return to the same community year after year. We'll send you the one-year-later photo.

Headcount, rough dates and what the trip needs to achieve. That's all we need to come back with venues, a sample flow and an indicative budget.
